ABOUT US

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Welcome to Kenbridge Christian Church! We believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of The Living God.   As Christians we are to follow the example of Christ in all we do.  In following our Savior's example, we believe and practice Salvation through Confession of our sins, asking Christ to come into, and rule our hearts and lives, having our sins washed away in baptism (Matt. 3:16, Acts 2:38, 1 Peter 3:21) which represents dying to our sins in Christ's death and rising out of the water a new clean creation in his resurrection, and living a faithful life for Christ.

We are committed to being a church that cares about individuals in times of crisis, tragedy and happiness. Our goal is to win souls for Jesus Christ and to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those around us.  We strive to be a church that reaches out to individuals by helping them become what Christ would have them be. Our vision is to be a church that will bring glory and honor to God in everything we say and do.  Our mission is to help people get more out of God so He can get more out of us.

We believe the scripture is "God Breathed", God's word is totally reliable and is our highest authority in matters of faith and practice. We believe Salvation is a free gift of God's grace given to all who will accept it. We participate in Communion each week, this is open to anyone and everyone who is a believer in God, it is our opportunity to pause weekly and thank God for offering us salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
